Rated 5 out of5 byRobert W fromSuperb Printer I get superb performance from the P-800. I was surprised that the initial ink cartridges lasted over a two-year shutdown while we moved from one location to another. Tec support is super-wait is usually less than 5 minutes and the technicians have always solved my issues. Only issue I have is that the instructions in the user guide for printing on poster board are non-existent, and the various settings needed are hidden in non-obvious locations. This could easily be fixed with a rev to the manual.
Even Tech Support often has difficulty finding the correct settings (and are very forgiving when my notes fail me and I have to call about the same question over again). Regardless, it is a superior product. Rated 5 out of5 byPrairiePainter fromSo Far:) I just set up my first P800 and it went fairly well - just took my time, nothing to rush about. The only slight 'bump' in the set-up was the LCD Screen told me I had to install the 'Maintenance Tray'.it showed where it went.I opened the tray door and there was a tray in there already. I pulled it out partially and re-inserted it and felt it seat itself - then the Maintenance Tray warning went away and the set-up continued.it had likely become loose and unseated during the shipping process from Epson. Actual print stability will vary according to media, printed image, display conditions, light intensity, humidity and atmospheric conditions.
Epson does not guarantee longevity of prints. For maximum print life, display all prints under glass or lamination or properly store them. Visit for the latest information.2 2 Cartridge yields vary considerably based on images printed, print settings, paper type, frequency of use and temperature. For print quality, a variable amount of ink remains in the cartridge after the 'replace cartridge' indicator comes on.
The printer ships with 64 mL initial cartridges and part of the ink from the first cartridges is used for priming the printer.3 Ink used in conversion varies considerably based on temperature and other factors.4 Not all paper types or widths supported. Printer does not have an auto cutter; manual cut required. See the documentation at for details.5 Print times are based upon print engine speeds only. Total throughput depends upon front-end driver/RIP, file size, printing resolution, ink coverage, network speed, etc. All times are in bidirectional print mode at 1440 x 720 dpi.6 Wi-Fi CERTIFIED; level of performance subject to the range of router being used.
